3) The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the continuation of Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), till March 2023.

5) The ministry of electronics and information technology (MeitY) formed an advisory committee for the country’s semiconductor mission.

6) National Service Scheme Indian Institute of Technology (NSS IIT), Roorkee on Friday hosted Sustainability Conclave 2022, to model and address the rising issues including climate change, environmental degradation, energy crisis, and water shortage.

➠The institute ranked 37th in 2022 an improvement from its 44th position in 2021 in mineral and mining engineering and 80th in 2022 from 90th in 2021 in electrical and electronic engineering globally.

11) Vinod Rai, the former Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) and the head of the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) in 2017, has written a book titled "Not Just A Nightwatchman: My Inning with BCCI."
