1) A team of Indian scientists has developed a new technology platform for fluorometric detection of pathogens such as viruses by measurement of fluorescent light emitted. 

➨The potential of the new technology has been demonstrated for the detection of Covid-19 virus SARS-CoV-2.

2) The Adani Group chairman is the world's biggest wealth-gainer this year with a $12bn jump in net worth. 

➨ Billionaire Gautam Adani is the wealthiest person in Asia with a net worth of $88.5 billion and now ranks as the 10th-richest person in the world, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

3) The government of India has appointed Jawaharlal Nehru University Vice-Chancellor, M Jagadesh Kumar as the new Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC).

4) Indian Army launched vocational training centre for women for 'Waadiyan Bakery Project’ in Mangnar village of Poonch district in Jammu Kashmir.

9) Union Ministry of environment, forest and climate change announced Aravalli Biodiversity Park as India’s first “other effective area-based conservation measures” (OECM) site.

10) Ministry of tourism has included Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi in the Ramayana Circuit of Swadesh Darshan scheme of the Centre.

➨ Punaura Dham was recently included in PRASHAD scheme of the ministry of tourism as well.

11) Sony Group Corp. is purchasing Bungie Inc., the U.S. video game developer behind the popular Destiny and Halo franchises, for $3.6 billion to bolster its stable of game-making studios.

12) Bengaluru-based Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has installed and commissioned Param Pravega, one of the most powerful supercomputers.

➨ The supercomputer, Param Pravega, developed under National Supercomputing Mission (NSM), is capable of performing over 3.3 quadrillion operations every second.

13) Drinking water supply schemes of Rs. 6,872.28 Crore were approved for Rajasthan under Jal Jeevan Mission in the State-level Scheme Sanctioning Committee (SLSSC) meeting.

➨ These schemes will provide tap water supply to more than 6.56 lakh rural households in 3,213 villages spread over 27 districts.
