1) NITI Aayog has released the fourth edition of the State Health Index for 2019–20. The report, titled “Healthy States, Progressive India”, ranks states  and Union Territories on their year-on-year incremental performance in health outcomes as well as their overall status.

➨Among the ‘Larger States’, in terms of annual incremental performance, Uttar Pradesh (UP), Assam and Telangana are the top three ranking states.

➨ Among ‘Smaller States’, Mizoram and Meghalaya registered the maximum annual incremental progress. 

➨ While among UTs, Delhi, followed by Jammu and Kashmir, showed the best incremental performance.

2) Prime Minister Narendra Modi  announced that Children between the age group of 15 to 18 years will be getting the Covid vaccine from January 3, 2022. Senior citizens with comorbidities will receive booster doses from January 10, 2022.

3) Union home minister Amit Shah inaugurated the 'Bharat Darshan Park' in Delhi which showcases attractive replicas of several iconic monuments of India built with scrap and waste material.

4) All India Football Federation announced that18 Indian referees have been selected in the FIFA Refereeing International list for 2022.

➨Members of the list are eligible to officiate at the international level and are also entitled to wear a FIFA badge on their uniform for the year they are enlisted.

5) Indian-origin philanthropist and founder of disaster relief group 'Gift Of The Givers', Dr Imtiaz Sooliman has won the prestigious South African of the Year Award run by the Daily Maverick newspaper.

6) The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, was placed top of the table among the most innovative Indian research institutions in 2021 by the apex industry body Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

7) Prime Minister Narendra Modi  embarked on a visit to Mandi, also known as 'Chhoti Kashi', and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of hydropower projects worth Rs 11,000 crore in Himachal Pradesh that will help boost the state's economy and provide additional power to the states.

8) Indian Army launched a contemporary messaging application named ASIGMA.

➨ ASIGMA stands for Army Secure IndiGeneous Messaging Application. 

➨ It is a new generation, state-of-the-art, web based application developed entirely in-house by team of officers of the Corps of Signals of the Army.

9) Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Banas Dairy Kashi Sankul (complex) at the UP State Industrial Development Authority Food Park in Varanasi.

10) Minister of Agriculture, Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated the four-day agriculture exhibition ‘Agrovision’, in Nagpur.

14) Union Tribal Affairs Minister, Arjun Munda today launched 'TRIFED Van Dhan', a Pictorial Chronicle of Tribal grit and enterprise. 

➨ It documents the work done for the promotion of tribal enterprise in the country and the achievements of tribal entrepreneurs under the Van Dhan Vikas Yojana.

15) India's former envoy to China Vikram Misri was appointed Deputy National Security Advisor in the National Security Council Secretariat.

1. Ace film director KS Sethumadhavan, winner of 10 national and nine Kerala state film awards, died in Chennai. He was 90.

10 राष्ट्रीय और 9 केरल राज्य फिल्म पुरस्कारों के विजेता जाने-माने फिल्म निर्देशक केएस सेतुमाधवन का चेन्नई में निधन हो गया। वह 90 वर्ष के थे।

2. The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Biogas based Electricity generation plant for the Milk Producers Cooperative Union Plant, Ramnagar, Varanasi.

6. The Government of India (GoI) and European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a Finance Contract for first tranche loan of Euro 250 million for Agra Metro Rail Project.

7. The Government of India and the German Development Bank – KFW signed agreements for Euro 140 million reduced interest loan and Euro 2 million grant for Energy Reform Programme, Madhya Pradesh.

8. REC Limited has entered into an agreement with KfW Development Bank for availing ODA term loan of USD 169.5 million under Indo-German Bilateral Partnership in accordance with the approval granted by Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India.

9. As many as 18 Indian referees have been selected in the FIFA Refereeing International list for 2022, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) announced.
