1) Durga Puja in Kolkata has been inscribed on the UNESCO's list of 'Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity'.

➨ The decision to include Durga Puja in the list was taken during the sixteenth session of the annual convention of UNESCO's Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

2) Messaging platform WhatsApp has rolled out a pilot program across 500 villages across Karnataka and Maharashtra, aimed at empowering villagers with access to digital payments through 'payments on WhatsApp'.

3) Ladakh got its first ever FM radio station in its capital city Leh.

➨The frequency for Leh & Kargil will be 91.1 FM and it will cover 50 kilometres aerial distance in radius.
