2) Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana launched an e-learning initiative 'Unnati' by the southwest district of the police force to help educate youngsters and provide vocational training to school dropouts.

3) An undersea earthquake of magnitude 7.6 struck Indonesia as the country's meteorological department issued a tsunami warning.

➨ Indonesian authorities estimated the quake at magnitude 7.5, which struck its region of East Nusa Tenggara in the Flores Sea.

4) The government launched a national helpline to create awareness about the provisions of the law aimed at ending discrimination and providing protection to Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs).

9) The first list of TOPS athletes for the 2024 Paris Olympics was finalised. As many as 20 new sportspersons were added to the list of Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) taking the total number of athletes to be funded by the Sports Ministry for the 2024 Olympic Games to 148.

10) The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati has established advanced microelectronics and nano-energy facilities at its Centre for Nanotechnology which is the first-of-its-kind in the Northeast.
