1. Ram Nath Kovind, President of India, awarded the President’s Standard to the 22nd Missile Vessel Squadron, also known as the Killer Squadron at a ceremonial parade to be held at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai.


राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने मुंबई के नेवल डॉकयार्ड में आयोजित होने वाली एक औपचारिक परेड में 22वें मिसाइल वेसल स्क्वाड्रन, जिसे किलर स्क्वाड्रन के रूप में भी जाना जाता है, को प्रेसीडेंट्स स्टैंडर्ड प्रदान किया।


2. The six-member Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) headed by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das kept the repo rate unchanged at 4% per cent, while the reverse repo rate also was kept unchanged at 3.35% per cent.

7) Education Ministry has launched a mobile app called Bhasha Sangam in order to help people acquire basic conversation ability in languages other than one’s mother tongue to at least 75 lakh people.

8) To ensure women safety in cyberspace, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has launched an online resource center to offer help for women in distress on issues pertaining to online safety such as cyber bullying, cyber stalking, financial frauds.
