1) Union Minister for Culture and Tourism , Sh. G.K Reddy launched the Amrit Mahotsav Podcast. 

➨This podcast series is a tribute to the persons and movements that significantly contributed to India’s freedom struggle, some of which have not found a place in the conventional storyline.

2) At least six fully vaccinated Covid patients in Indore and its neighborhood in Madhya Pradesh have been found infected for the AY.4 variant – which is the sub-lineage of the Delta variant. The AY.4 is a variant of concern.

3) The Centre has drawn up plans to promote sites across the country associated with Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose through curated tours as part of events to commemorate the anniversary of the formation of the Azad Hind government.

➨Bose had announced the formation of the provisional government of Azad Hind in occupied Singapore. He had launched a struggle to free India from British rule under the banner of the provisional government in exile during the latter part of the Second World War.

4) Union minister Piyush Goyal inaugurated tourist hut of Pahalgam Development Authority at Golf Course Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir.

➨ The union minister also inaugurated 250mm Seer Water supply scheme. The project will benefit around 10000 people and will be completed under the ambit of Jal Jeevan Mission within three months.

11) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched a Web-Based Project Monitoring Portal (WBPMP) for Military Engineer Services (MES) at South Block.
